Sounds simple, eh?
Yes, well it’s not. Making a choice can be hard. Especially if you like to weigh out the pros and cons, and you like to be fair. If this is the case there will always be a way for either choice to work out to some degree. Sometimes you can go with whichever choice makes you less anxious. But, then you mustn’t discount the fact that when you do anything new it will hopefully cause some sort of anxiety – otherwise it isn’t that challenging or new, is it?
Having the chance to think out your options is mandatory. Don’t ever let anyone rush you when making a decision. Just say, “I need some time to think about this.” It sounds very smart to take the time to think about something, as opposed to recklessly making a spontaneous decision. (Unless of course, it’s deciding which movie to take in Friday night. That’s a different kind of decision).
What is most important, is that you do make a choice. Because this is what moves you forward. This forward movement is what grows you. And you want to grow.
